SPITFIRE
Through the tragic death of its creator, a
Goddess of the air was born.
A
winged chariot of elliptical prowess and of immense aerial beauty.
The
years fly by but the power and mystique will never die in a truly English
legend that is the Spitfire. Nothing climbed higher or dived faster and to fly
her was to be one of the few.
Today
people stop and stare as a shadow passes the sun and the roar of a Merlin or
Griffon engine fills the sky. Is it real or is it the ghost of a fallen hero in
his craft of heaven – the Spitfire?
