It’s ever so hard being a hamster
using all your energy to eat, sleep
and crap all day and night.
If I could come back I’d be a hamster!
Look at the life they have – it’s ever so fun.
They only come out at night to sniff
the air and scurry about.
Hamsters are cuddly
but unlike mice their tails are short
but their teeth are just as sharp.
Our hamster is called Putin
and he is brown and white.
