LAKE
Down
by the lake it’s an enchanting place,
especially
this evening when dusk covers the scene.
Nothing
moves except the rippling surface of the water,
delicate
waves lapping the shore.
It’s
a collection of colours that make up a touching time,
orange,
red and violet, all thrown together.
Nighttime
descends taking away the scene as the lake is now in peace.
