CASTLE
IN THE CLOUDS
High
above the equatorial rainforest atop a pillar of clouds is a massive castle
made up of so much stone, it’s the size of a mountain and it floats on its own
huge grey clouds. Here live the mighty warriors of times gone by.
While
their bodies have long since turned to dust their spirits fly about the empty
walls and chambers.
No
one knows how many are here or how many battles they have fought, they are here
forever to fly and to fight their last moments over and over until eternity
dawns.
Maybe
one day if the castle ever falls to earth mortal man can walk where the spirits
do but until then he can only dream of doing so.
