UNBELIEVABLE
Waves of crime
ripping across my country from end to end,
car thieves
burning out their nights’ takings,
drug users hot
to high heaven, where’s my next fix?
No known
solution to this. Send them to jail
and they’ll
learn new skills in a great learning institution.
Borstal failed
in the 80s. Now the future?
Lock them up
and toss away the key?
On Bad Lad’s
Army their own words:
“One year of
National Service and I’d do no more crime.”
So Brown, this
is it, such a simple solution.
