Silence descended in the design room. The walls were surrounded with flashy looking hand drawn artwork of dress designs, from cocktail to casual, it was all here. As were framed blown up front page covers from several of the world’s top fashion magazines. All had glowing praise on various Jelma dresses, fashion shows and dress launches. It was the real deal.
“Kaito has the real Kazuki dress on. Don’t you recognise your own handiwork Kaito?” Jelma laughed, moving her hair from her eyes. It was untied, adding to her looks. As did her new contact lenses.
“What? No…” Sera was shocked. “You mean? This is…”
“Yes!” Jelma nodded, grinning.
“Oh my fucking God!” Kaito commented in disbelief. She looked down and really examined ‘her’ dress. “I’m wearing the Chinese copy, from Loquat.”
“There you both are. Are you both surprised? Look closely at your dresses. You were both wrong. Yes, the Loquat 'copy’ is of excellent quality. I’m sure you agree Sera. You’re wearing it!”
Kaito went over to Sera and knelt down; she checked the work. Really give it the once over. The quality is… good. This is meant to be a Red China knock off… and the quality is good. Too good.
