LIFE, TIME – YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN

We all have those special memories, you, me, everyone.

An old song or a spoken word brings them back so that

it’s just like yesterday. Your heart aches and your eyes

glaze over, you say to yourself “Yes I was there” and you

remember the good times with a heavy heart.

We say life is about moving forward, but all we have is the past.

I can’t rid myself of these haunting images of times gone by

but I can say “Yes I was there” and they were amongst the best.

In our crazy spinning minds we all have to fight our own

demons; sometimes we win, others we lose. That’s life, isn’t it?

It is the ocean we all sail upon, all as one.
