Endure the Wave
by Jimmy Boom Semtexy Sera. Come and get it and show us the dress," Chiyo gleefully commented.
She passed Kaito a small cup.
"Lovely," Kaito said, sipping her tea.
"I'll just be a minute," Sera replied from the changing room.
"Ok, see you soon," Chiyo nodded, adding, "We promise to save you some tea!"
"You better," Sera laughed.
Kaito finished her cup and got another from the kettle. She liked it. Would she drink Sera's? Not if Sera could help it! She emerged like a dart from the room, a big grin on her face. Everyone looked at her.
"Oh my fucking Lord!" exclaimed Kaito.
"Hakucho," Chiyo exclaimed.
"I'll have my tea now," Sera said with an air of grace, nose held high.
"It's there... on the table," Chiyo pointed.
"Please pass it me," the model ordered, standing there like an exotic statuette.
"There you go," Kaito whispered. "I wasn't going to drink it."
"Thank you. It looks sweet. I know."
"It is sweet Sera. It doesn't look as good as you. She looks fab, doesn't she Chiyo?"
"Yes she does Kaito. Amazing."
There was a short pause as the two designers gawped at their design, modelled on their friend Sera, who sipped her tea. She really did look like royalty.
"Why are you whispering and in shock," whispered Sera.
"Because you look like the Queen of England or Princess Diana," Kaito gasped. Chiyo nodded.
Sera danced about, laughing. "It's just a dress, it's just a dress, it's just a dress..." she sung.
Chiyo and Kaito smiled, looked at one another and joined their friend, dancing around the room, singing, "It's just a dress, it's just a dress, it's just a dress..."
It was a touching and surreal scene. Finally Sera stopped dancing, she collected the others in her arms and hugged and kissed them both. They all approved of the dress. The tea was forgotten.
